Same ole same ole
I thought I should post something since it's been awhile. Basically right after Emerson's birthday we had her kids birthday party and then preparing for Susan's Wedding that I didn't have much time left for anything else. I am hoping things calm down a little but I have this feeling that work will be picking up in the next 3 weeks so there's not much hope. I just wish there was 36 hours in the day so I could get everything done.

Projects
Well Emerson is two now and everything that comes along with that age. Of course she's "been" two since she was fifteen months. I was told by her teachers that she'll grow out of the phase...just in time for the threes. Great!
That being said we are very happy to be blessed with our daughter especially after such a long path and many bumps in the road. She truly brings happiness to our otherwise dull lives.
This weekend Dan has drill for the Navy so I am sitting here with all my coupons spread across my table cutting and sorting. I got a little behind in the tasks so while the laundry washes and Emmie sleeps there I cut.
Dan got a cold this week and lucky me, he shared it. So now even though I sound fine my lungs are so tight it's hard to breathe. I'll have to think of a way to pay him back...maybe go grocery shopping for me!
Next weekend my aunt and cousin and her children are visitng so we are excited to have them visit! The last time they were here was before Emmie was born so I'm excited for them to see what we've done so far on the house.
My father is here now working on the electrical for the bathroom remodel that started in May. I had hoped to take my FIRST shower in the bathroom this weekend but alas the project continues. As long as it's before winter I guess it's ok. Plus, after ordering and returning two mirrors we now have discovered the antique shower unit is too tall for the tub. So we have to have a plumber come in and cut and weld the pipes for us. Is nothing easy?

Tom and Mary
Today we celebrated Tom and Mary's 25th wedding anniversary! Eric and Brooke and the rest of the family organized te event and surprised the Bride and Groom! I was lucky enough to take the pictures for the event and can't wait to work on my gift!
September 13
I decided to start a blog for Dan's family in Kansas and for my family in Vermont that don't see us often. We used to have a blog years ago and we stopped once we moved back to NH - so we'll see how it goes!
